11. December 2011: We are happy to announce our first 'Open Forum Exhibition' on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 'The Kahala Resort + Hotel' on Oahu/Hawaii.
(10:00 am - 3:00 pm). A selection of Giclée canvas prints, embellished with Liquitex gel brush stroke, metallic prints on gallery mats, as well as prints on acrylic and metal substrates, from the 'Hawaiian Legends Series', a collaboration of ‘Surf Photography Pioneer’ and Emmy-Award-winning Photographer Dan Merkel and Hawaiian resident/ German-born artist and typographer Harald-M. Lehnardt, will be on display .
Diana Novoselic will join the 'Kuliana Edition' team, and assist Harald-M. Lehnardt and Dan Merkel in the presentation of the artwork, and offer expertise and support as consultant. The exhibition will continue in the 'Plumeria Beach House' on Dec 12, 2011, and be on display for the remainder of 'The Quiksilver Big Wave Invitational in Memory of Eddie Aikau' holding period: until the end of February 2012. We are grateful for this incredible opportunity and thankful for the full support of the management team at the Kahala Resort.
